‘Gateway’ is no longer the company it used to be. They were bought by Acer in 2007 & in 2020 the name was given to the Chinese company Bmorn Technology.

Gateway used to be known for its customer service, but now that it is a Walmart/Chinese company exclusive, it has all gone to shit.

I warn you; “do not trust the ‘Gateway’ brand anymore, because that’s all it is; a branded Chinese knock off.”

Summary

This thing had problems from the beginning. The camera worked & then it didn’t, the Wi-Fi worked intermittently, the microphone intermittently, the Bluetooth might have never worked (I just tried it a month ago). Now that I have filed a claim, the ‘Gateway’ company is giving me the run around. I have been emailing them for almost a month now with no results. Avoid this & ‘Gateway’ (not the same company anymore) products like the plague.
